NCT Dream’s first English single just hit me hard. The lyrics and melody always got me crying on my bed. It is a beautiful song. The MV is also pretty. I could say that Rains in Heaven is the song that calms you when you need it.
It’s like there is someone who finally understands your point of view and is always ready to say “It is okay. I got you. I will always be here for you when you need someone to hold.”
This song already on my playlist since the day of their released and i keep playing this song at least thrice a day.
The unique and satisfying part, beside the lyrics, are how the members mostly sang in falsetto for some of the part (and it is dominant for the reff part). Dreamies, you guys are so amazing.

Talking about my own life, this song kinda have a good impact on me. I keep overthinking about my future and my thesis. I am afraid of how i’ll be. I am scared that i might make my parents disappointed. I also afraid that the old me is also disappointed with today’s me.
There is also some moment where i think “ahhhh, i want to be like her. Why i can’t be her?” But this song comes out (at the right time) and reminds me of how every people has their own struggle and maybe i only look at their cover only. I never know how their struggle to reach those point. As NCT Dream said “we’re all the same but hurt different”

The part where Chenle and Jisung on trains is really reminds me of this movie a lot. I keep seeing some of fans on X (Twitter) also say the same thing as mine. Maybe their creative team take this movie as their reference or inspiration. I love it tho. I love it so much!🥹🤍
Thanks for released such a beautiful song, NCT Dream. Even though many people said that the lyrics are corny or yadda yadda yadda. I do not care. Because when i think about it, it is make sense why this song mostly use basic english in it. This is not their first language and they will performed this song LIVE for their tour. So, it’s gonna be helpful tho with this basic english. I am sure, in the future, you guys will produced a song with Shakespeare level.
